Ace Boot Camp

Thursday Boot Camp

Come along to the Polegate Recreation ground on Thursday evenings, for a great outdoor exercise session. Thursdays: 6.30pm

Boot Camp Benefits

Research shows that we enjoy an outside activity more than it's indoor equivalent, experiencing more pleasure, vitality, enthusiasm and higher self-esteem.

Exercise outdoors

Running outdoors causes us to alter our stride compared to a treadmill, flexing our ankles more as we accommodate to the terrain, thus improving mobility and strength.

What is an ACE Boot Camp class?

A group fitness class, conducted outdoors, mixing traditional body weight exercises with interval and strength training. Each Boot Camp fitness class is usually about an hour long.

The class is instructed by me, Alan Clarke and if you would like to know more about who I am and my qualifications, please have a look at the about page.

Boost your fitness and confidence

You may not feel that you can undertake an hour of quite intense training in the fresh air, but as your instructor, it will be my aim to assess your current level of fitness and encourage you to complete the exercises to the best of your ability.

Everyone who participates, regardless of age, gender, or fitness level, feels a great sense of accomplishment.

Over time, both your fitness and self-confidence will rocket.

Tone-up and Reduce Fat

Body fat may be unsightly to some, but more importantly it can pose significant health risks, including increased risk of heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. Exercising outdoors and incorporating running, training with weights and body weight circuit exercises, will increase your heart and breathing rates, burn calories, help with fat loss and at the same time help maintain, or increase muscle tissue.

Regular exercise can increase your metabolism and capacity to burn fat at rest.
